Reactivating Legacy Industrial Sites

Port Huron Multimodal Hub, MI.

In 2024 BMI acquired the historic Port Huron paper mill with the vision to restart and expand as a base for U.S. multi-modal logistics.

The site relaunched as the Port Huron Multimodal Hub, and restarted the mill as Legacy Paper. The project is designed to attract business and drive long-term economic value for the region. Strategically positioned, boasting over 1,000 feet of Black River frontage, direct rail access, and comprehensive trucking infrastructure, and more than 350,000 square feet of leasable indoor space, it is providing a customizable, competitive hub for industrial and commercial tenants.
